Toró Tibor

Political scientist, research director of the Institute

Was born in 1981 in Timişoara (Temesvár). He received a BA degree in Sociology at the Western University Timişoara, he conducted his MA studies at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Political science and at the Central European University (CEU) in Nationalism studies. He attended the Philosophy Doctoral School at the Babeș-Bolyai University, where he analyzed the political representation claim-making capacities of Hungarians in Romania.

He is an associated professor at the Department of International Relationships and European Studies at the Sapientia University.

His main fields of interest are language policy, nationalism, democracy and ethnopolitics.
