Political processes in the past couple of years showed that newly adopted legislation often surprises political actors who represent Hungarians in Romania, in many cases lacking information on these. The goal of the program is to monitor decision-making activities, such as draft laws, emergency ordinances, government and ministerial orders relevant form the point of view of Hungarians and spreading these in form of a newsletter to the press and interested civil organization.
Besides these activities, the experts employed by the Institute publish short analyses of new legislation, amendments and draft legislation considered important.
